  1. 01Saved .eml files can be decoded in browser memory with plain-text preference and a sanitized HTML fallback.
  2. 02The parser handles bounded MIME nesting, encoded headers, base64 and quoted-printable bodies without adding a runtime dependency.
  3. 03Attachments and recipient headers are excluded before the existing local clue review begins.

Interpretation boundaries

  • 01PolicyWatcher does not connect to a mailbox, receive forwarded mail, upload the .eml file or open attachments.
  • 02Unsupported, attachment-only, deeply nested and oversized files fail closed; extracted clues still require user review.
