The registers below distinguish file integrity, factual correction history and the terms used by PolicyWatcher.
Provenance status
Published media files have SHA-256 checksums and descriptive metadata. Content Credentials are not attached.
A checksum can confirm that a downloaded file matches the listed file. It does not prove semantic truth, authorship provenance or endorsement.

Glossary
- publicEvidence
- A publication flag used by public data routes to withhold records that have not passed the configured evidence gate.The flag does not prove source completeness or legal authority.
- Not assessed
- A missing analytical assessment. It has no numerical value and is not converted to zero.
- Source suspension
- A publication state used when the configured source cannot support a current public analytical record.Suspension is not a finding about the provider policy.
- Snapshot
- A dated copy or representation of information available at a recorded point in time.A snapshot does not remain current after later source changes.
- Evidence gate
- Configured checks that determine whether a record is eligible for a public data route.Eligibility is not legal validation or compliance certification.
